I'm Carley Peterson, the photographer of Inner Light Imagery. My business is rooted in the belief that everyone carries beauty within them, they just need to see it for themselves! Based in Central Illinois, I specialize in timeless family photography that captures authentic moments and meaningful connections. I work with families of all shapes and sizes, from growing households to multi-generational groups, helping them preserve the essence of who they are through images that last a lifetime.

My love for photography runs deep. I grew up in a home where my dad ran a photography studio, and that early exposure left a lasting impression. Years later, when I picked up a camera again, it felt like a natural extension of who I am. I quickly discovered that my passion wasn't just in taking beautiful photos, but in helping people see the beauty they may not realize they have!

I try to bring a sense of ease and fun to every session! I also pride myself on creating a safe and relaxed environment where clients can truly be themselves.

I'm open to photographing special events and occasions. I am happy to travel for the right project! Through Inner Light Imagery, I continue my mission of making people feel seen, valued, and celebrated, one timeless image at a time.
